- Jeff Collins reports on bravery awards being given to 4 fire officers who risked their lives tackling a fire at a pornographic cinema in Clerkenwell in which 11 people died after it was set alight by customer David Lauwers following an entrance fee dispute. Speaks to the firemen Raymond Walton, Mark Garrard, James Mansfield and Alan Ward. The cinema doors and windows were blocked and the fire has sparked the government to speed up its review of police and local authority powers to regulate private clubs.
