Paul Woodley reports from New York on British independent radio’s success at the international radio festival. Festival director Sandy Mandelberger discusses the festival and the English contribution, which included a gold medal-winning LBC production of the Canterbury Tales. Co-producer (with Tim Crook) of the Canterbury Tales, Richard Shannon expresses his delight at the production’s success; Mark Burgess, who translated the original middle English into modern English, describes how he did it.
