Description
Interview with a male eyewitness on the desperate situation of troops in southern Vietnam, on the border with Cambodia. He spoke to four young soldiers who had been evacuated, still unpaid, from the besieged city of Kompong Seila where they had resorted to cannibalism, eating the bodies of Khmer Rouge guerillas; they subsequently shot and killed their paymaster in a dispute about another posting (this incident occurred no later than April 1975).
