Transport Secretary Cecil Parkinson talks to LBC’s political editor Peter Murphy about current issues concerning the funding, building and provision of enough capacity for people and freight in London, Kent and the South East of England and the rest of the UK, for the planned Channel Tunnel. With no public funds forthcoming, British Rail is to press ahead with plans despite its commercial partners Trafalgar House and BICC pulling out of the development.
