At eleven o’clock this morning, the two sides in the signalworkers’ dispute, Railtrack and the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT), are to resume talks to end the 15 week-old strike. Talks at conciliation service, ACAS began yesterday afternoon and lasted for six hours. Includes interviews with Toby Moore, Transport Correspondent, Daily Telegraph; Vernon Hince, Chief Negotiator for RMT; Derek Evans, Chief Conciliation Officer, ACAS. Jason Kaye reports.
