BT and Mercury have a new rival on the telecommunications scene as of today. New company, Energis, has pledged to undercut BT’s prices by as much as forty percent and is the first national phone system to be launched in Britain since Mercury broke BT’s monopoly 10 years ago. David Dey, the company’s chief executive, talks to an unidentified male interviewer.
