- Description
- The French government has decided to resume nuclear testing in the South Pacific. The French have since sent soldiers on to the Greenpeace ship Rainbow Warrior II, to tow it away from the exclusion zone around the Mururoa Atoll. However Greenpeace has claimed today that three of its activists had penetrated the naval barrier around the atoll and briefly occupied the drilling rig before being removed. Malina Morzaria of Greenpeace tells what happened to the activists who’d managed to reach the drilling rig. Female interviewer not identified.
