Tony Blair has made his his first address as party leader to the Labour Party Ccnference. Following a tribute to the late leader, John Smith, he repeatedly attacks the Conservative Party, reminding delegates of Margaret Thatcher’s words upon winning the 1979 election before spelling out some of the items on Labour’s political agenda, including the national minimum wage.
