Description
Press interview with Labour Party leader, Neil Kinnock, prior to a visit to Liverpool (19/06/91) to try and negotiate in the dispute between the GMB union and Liverpool City Council following the announcement of council worker redundancies. Kinnock’s visit also coincides with the Walton by-election where the Party is being opposed by an independent left-wing candidate and he is asked about this. The interview appears to be taking place at a train station.
