The doors of Buckingham Palace are about to open for public tours again. To mark the occasion the crown jewellers Garrards have launched a limited edition carriage clock. Jeff Collins reports. Speaks to David Thomas of Garrards; John Steed, clockmaker at the firm; Dickie Arbiter on the palace tours and use of money to restore Windsor Castle after the fire in 1992.
