Description

Detectives investigating the murder of a part-time midwife in Lincolnshire have refuted suggestions of a serial killer on the loose. Police have discounted any connection with two other killings in the east of England. Detective Chief Superintendent Tom Coates, who is leading the inquiry, describes the last known movements of Kathleen Hempsall, who was found dead after taking her 7 year-old daughter to school. He tells how her sister alerted police that morning.
