- Jeff Collins reports on the inception of Operation Eagle Eye, put in place by Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Paul Condon to cut the number of muggings in London but controversial since his comments that a high proprtion of offences were by black youths. Includes interview with Condon; tour of Peckham with Sergeant Mark Drew and PC Andy Whitewood pointing out the major crime spots and interview with Drew on how they will carry out the operation; actuality of them responding to several robberies and suspected robberies; Superintendent Duncan Kroll on an initiative in Southwark schools to prevent bullies turning into muggers.
