- Over 200 people have marched on Downing Street to call for the release from jail of gangsters Reggie Kray and Ronnie Kray, who were jailed for a minimum of thirty years in 1969, but the turnout was less than expected. Dick Bowman, organiser of the march, puts the low turnout down to people not wishing to be interviewed; Patsy Manning, cell mate at Long Lartin Prison with Reggie Kray, on his villainous nature; leader of the march Sonia Wright says the Krays have served their time. Ian Fenn reports.
