- Report on the funeral of Emanuel Shinwell (died 08/05/86), who became Baron Shinwell, familiarly known as Manny. Shinwell was born in Spitalfields, London, but moved with his Polish Jewish family to Glasgow, Scotland. He was a trade union official and Labour politician, and one of the leading figures of Red Clydeside. His son, Ernest Shinwell, pays tribute to his father; Sir John Junor gives a speech describing the man, and his career. Male reporter not identified.
