Description

Armed robber David Stone, aged around 35, has been shot dead by police in North London. He was cornered in a timber yard in Fairbridge Road, Holloway after being seen running from Barclays Bank in High Street, Highgate. Peter Deeley reports for Angela Rippon FM Drivetime show on the police chase which included Stone hijacking a dustcart. Includes interviews with police commander John Townsend and unidentified eyewitness.
