Interview with British Rail chairman, Sir Bob (Robert Paul) Reid, following the publication of company figures which reveal BR made an overall loss of nearly eleven million pounds last year after being in the black to the tune of nearly 270 million the year before. Reid blames a slump in passengers and the collapse of the property market for the statistics and says they’ve done well in spite of the recession. Female interviewer not identified (poss.
