Labour leader Neil Kinnock talks to Washington reporter Nick Peters after his meeting with President George Bush at the White House yesterday. President Bush recently met with West German Chancellor, Helmut Kohl and Soviet President, Mikhail Gorbachev in Stavropol. Kinnock is also due to meet US Senator Joe Biden for lunch after the senator used one of Kinnock’s speeches in his presidential campaign.
