Description

Alison Hodgkins reports on the official opening of the final part of a 12-mile walk around London today by the Queen. Most of the Silver Jubilee Walkway has been open since 1977, with a guide and plaques giving historical details of landmarks. This last part is a specially constructed walkway along the South Bank. Includes interviews with Robert Shaw, Chairman of the Jubilee Trust; vox pop with Hither Green Primary School children who met the Queen.
