Description

Telephone report by correspondent Larry Pintak on fighting in the Shaba province of Zaire. The Katangese rebels, who are seeking independence from Zaire, are said to have backing from the Soviet and Cuban military. It is possible that Zaire’s President Mobutu will call on the assistance of Morocco and France to stem the fighting. Male studio reporter not identified.
