- Description
- The US scientist who rediscovered the wreck of the German battleship, Bismarck has been speaking for the first time about his respect for the hundreds of men killed during one of the War’s bloodiest naval battles. The wreck of Germany’s most feared warship was found by a remote controlled submarine, upright and in excellent condition, three miles beneath the Atlantic. Dr Robert Ballard says his team did not touch or recover anything from the scene, out of respect.
