Description
Home Secretary Douglas Hurd has admitted that his plans for the future of television will mean more rubbish on our screeens. The slip came during an interview with LBC, which followed his House of Commons statement this afternoon. But in the statement and in the interview Hurd also stressed that there would be more high quality programming, too. And he told Peter Spencer he was not impressed by Labour’s claims that television was being vandalised.
