John Shepherd, a 66 year-old betting shop manager has been murdered in his shop in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. The motive is unclear but there have been a number of robberies in the area. Alan Partridge of Aylesbury police details the incident and appeals for information. A local newsagent describes the mood among local shopkeepers. The police phoneline number is also read out.
