Description
Report on the publication by the Daily Mirror of photographs of Princess Diana working out in a gym. Lord McGregor of the Press Complaints Commission condemns the paper, whilst Daily Mirror editor David Banks claims the newspaper was entitled to publish the pictures. The RAC, which was advertising next to the photos, has withdrawn its adverts. Spokesman David Worskett explains the decision and claims the Mirror has done wrong. Members of the club where the photos were taken express their disgust at the invasion of privacy. Heritage Secretary, Peter Brooke claims the paper acted unethically. David Kermode reports.
