- The home of black South African leader Winnie Mandela has been burnt down by a mob of black youths, she wasn’t at home. It appears the arson was the result of a feud between rival gangs of teenagers. Nigel Wrench was at the scene shortly after the attack, by which time the Mandela home was a charred shell and speaks to a local teenager and eyewitness (not identified).
