Description
Report on a trial lasting 14 weeks in the Old Bailey, of 10 young men for actions during the 1976 Notting Hill Carnival. To reach their sentence, the jury were out for 170 hours, 23 minutes, the longest ever jury retirement in English legal history. Also covers claims that statements were obtained from defendants by police brutality. 2nd report on alleged approaches to juror which were concealed from the court and failure to agree on many charges.
