Description
John Greenwood interviews Dame Lydia Dunn, senior member of Hong Kong’s ruling executive council, on a campaign to restore the right of residency to Hong Kong British subjects. Politicians in Hong Kong fear massive unrest when the colony is handed over to China in 1997 and they claim Britain has a moral obligation and a constitutional responsibility to restore the right of abode removed in the Commonwealth Immigrants Act of 1962.
