Interview with Mitchel McLaughlin, Sinn Fein’s northern chairman, about the current Northern Ireland peace process following the announcement of the IRA ceasefire and talks between the UK Government and Sinn Fein at Stormont Castle. Sinn Fein says there should be an agreement on democratic structures as the IRA ceasefire means political issues can be concentrated on. McLaughlin says Sinn Fein wants to work through the exploratory talks and move on to more meaningful discussions as soon as possible. In two parts. Interviewer not heard.
