Description
The government censor in Hong Kong has banned a television commercial for the benefit of Foreign Secretary Geoffrey Howe as it’s message is too political in its call for Hong Kong residents to be given the right of abode in Britain after the colony reverts to Chinese rule. But banning it has merely ensured its message is headline news. David Johnston reports. Includes excerpt of advert; interview with Hans Abbott, the advertising agency boss. For Billboard programme.
