- Dr Arthur Hertzberg of the World Jewish Congress says that Dr Kurt Waldheim, President of Austria, must be shunned by the rest of the world. He says Waldheim was a member of the Nazi Party and is a suspect of Nazi war crimes, although Waldheim claims to be innocent. The WJC suspects that Waldheim has received government protection.
