- Description
- Dominic Waghorn reports on the discovery of a bomb outside a furniture store in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh. The IRA is denying any responsibility for planting the device, which was found by police after an anonymous telephone warning. Ulster Unionist politicians claim the incident has been orchestrated by Sinn Fein and the IRA to put pressure on the UK Government prior to peace talks. The bomb was the first found since the announcement of the IRA ceasefire. Includes interviews with Ken Maginnis, Ulster Unionist security spokesman; Seamus Mallon, SDLP.
