- Dominic Waghorn reports on the case of five year-old Emma Harris, from Rottingdean, Sussex, who died on 26/12/94 at a hospital in Brighton after a Christmas Day outbreak of meningitis. Her friend, Alexandra Yates, is desperately ill in Guys Hospital in London. Includes reaction from her headmaster, Robert Smith; grandfather of Emma Harris, Neville Palmer; Dr Brendan O’Connor, East Sussex Health Authority. (Alexandra Yates later died in hospital).
