Description

Steven Ward reports from the Lazdijai crossing point on the Polish-Lithuanian border, on attempts by Lithuania to take control of her borders from the Soviet Union. The Baltic republic has issued its first entry visas since the Second World War and Red Army soldiers are now working side by side with new Lithuanian customs and border personnel.
