- Transport Minister Roger Freeman talks to Peter Deeley about the funding of London Underground which needs extra money for improvements. He is rejecting a Monopolies and Mergers Commission report calling for an extra £300million a year. He says his own 10 year plan will be funded by fare increases, staff productivity and Government expenditure but avoids putting figures or time limits to it.
