Description
A car bomb in East Belfast has killed an Army recruiting officer, Alan Shields, the ninth person to be killed by the IRA in Northern Ireland in the past three days. Three unnamed eyewitnesses give their accounts of the event. British Secretary of State, Tom King has met with security chiefs in Northern Ireland to discuss possible security measures, and announces at a press conference that the Government has not ruled out anti-terrorist measures. Peter Russell reports from Northern Ireland.
