Description

Industrial action by nurses at Broadmoor mental hospital has meant that some patients have been confined to their rooms and refused visitors. A patient died when he was administered a tranquiliser after a violent clash in Ward Three of Kent House. Police are investigating the death and Medical Director of Broadmoor, John Hamilton, says he is concerned about the safety of patients and hopes for a quick resolution to the strike action.
