Report on the verdict and reaction to it in the trial at the Old Bailey in London, of former Liberal Party leader Jeremy Thorpe and co-defendants, David Holmes, 49; South Wales businessman John Le Mesurier, 46, and nightclub owner George Deakin, 39.
