- Peter Deeley interviews veteran Wade Tidbury, who fought in the Falklands War, and is now a member of the ex-servicemen’s CND. Follows court martial giving a dishonourable discharge and 14-month jail sentence to soldier Vic Williams for refusing to fight in the Gulf War. Explains his pacifist views and how he came by them; gives his views of Vic Williams’ desertion; on how the army treats pacifists and expects soldiers to conform; and whether service personnel can have a conscience.
