Description

Rowdy press conference at Beirut Airport featuring Allyn Conwell, spokesman for and one of the hostages being held in Beirut from TWA Flight 847 which was hijacked by Lebanese Shia Islamists on 14/06/85. He reads out the list of the remaining hostages, and makes a plea to US President Ronald Reagan to refrain from any military action to free them, and Israel to release Shiite political prisoners as demanded by the hijackers. Other hostages heard are: Tom Cullen, Peter Hill, Arthur Toga, Vincente Garza. Audio poor quality to start.
