Description
Havovi Todd reports on the inquest into the deaths of 35 victims of the Clapham rail disaster. The jury decided they were unlawfully killed, but it appears there will be no charges. Labour’s Transport spokesman John Prescott says there should be further investigations; Transport Secretary Cecil Parkinson says this is a matter for the Director of Public Prosecutions alone; the lawyer for the families of the victims, Christopher Mather(?), says there should be prosecutions.
