David Cicippio) of kidnapped American hostage in Lebanon, Joseph Cicippio, reacting to a videotape message by their father which says the threat to hang him is very serious and pressure must be put upon Israel to release Shi’ite leader, Sheik Abdul Karim Obeid. Says it’s the first time they’ve heard their father’s voice in 3 years but it’s obvious he’s reading from a prepared statement. Male interviewer not identified.
