- Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher talks to Peter Allen about the conflict in the Falkland Islands. She claims that Argentina is in the wrong and insists that she is willing to negotiate a peaceful resolution. She reproaches Allen for his suggestion that Britain would have handed over sovereignty of the Islands in the longer term had the conflict not begun. Clip ends abruptly, mid-sentence (although interview is drawing to a close).
