Sports editor Andrew Parkinson interviews Wasps coach Rob Smith over the telephone about the defection of fly-half Rob Andrew to the newly formed Newcastle club to take up a post as director of rugby. Many of his former Wasps colleagues have followed him. Smith is asked if in hindsight, it would have been better if Andrew had left the team as soon as he signed his Newcastle contract, and about the new professionalism in rugby union.
