Thirty-two year old Cracknell was under threat of death if his family didn’t pay a million pound ransom. But after a big police operation and a voluntary news blackout by the media he was released after being held in Devon. Includes press conference featuring Chief Constable Brian Hayes. Keith Rose was later convicted of the crime. Broadcast on County Sound Radio.
