Description

Julie Sedgwick reports on police investigations into the sinking of the Marchioness pleasure boat following a collision with the dredger, Bowbelle, on the River Thames in London (20/08/89). Police are investigating a possible offence of unlawful killing. The skipper and mate of the Bowbelle were released after being questioned. Includes interview with Cecil Parkinson, Transport Secretary. Broadcast on either 20th or 21st.
