Description
In his controversial book, Spycatcher, former MI5 agent Peter Wright voiced his suspicions that former head of MI5, Sir Roger Hollis was a Soviet spy. Attempts by the British Government to have the book banned - initiated by Sir Anthony Kershaw of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee - failed as the Law Lords allowed it to be serialised in British newspapers. Wright’s Australian lawyer, Malcolm Turnbull, explains why the Government’s case was flawed, whilst Andrew Neil, editor of the Sunday Times, welcomes the news. Oni Bhattacharya reports.
