Recording of ITV (Thames Television) TV Eye current affairs programme broadcast on 19/03/81. Entitled, The Atlanta Killings, and presented by Denis Tuohy, the programme examines the search for bodies in Atlanta, Georgia, following the killing of twenty black children. Includes discussion on race relations within the city and and the local reaction to the crimes. Speakers include: Camille Bell, Committee to Stop Children’s Murders; Don Laken, police tracker; Mayor Maynard Jackson; Tom Hamall, Atlanta Chamber of Commerce; Dan Sweat, Central Atlanta Progress for Black Leadership.
