Interview with a male British diplomat (who wishes to remain anonymous) in Beirut, following the news of the release by kidnappers of Church of England envoy, Terry Waite and fellow Lebanon hostage Tom Sutherland. He says he’s still had no confirmation the hostages are about to be released but says radio station Voice of Lebanon is claiming they have already been freed. Interviewer not heard.
