- Description
- Hayes on Sunday. Margaret Thatcher, Leader of the Opposition, talking to Brian Hayes and answering questions put by callers. Before the phone-in, Hayes poses a question about Northern Ireland, but Thatcher’s reply has apparently been lost. Other responses appear also to have been cut short. Programme includes commercial break and news bulletin, after which Hayes makes a plea to listeners to put their questions simply and concisely. Possibly Margaret Thatcher’s first appearance on a phone-in.
