Brown, a 22-year-old single mother from Hackney who has been out of work for over a year, on the Labour Party Welfare for Work proposals which would force the unemployed under 25 to accept work or opt for training. She would agree to go on a course if she were paid to do so, but doesn’t see why those who do not wish to train should receive a cut in benefits. Male interviewer not identified.
