Description
Nigel Wrench reports from Johannesburg on the results of the local elections for segregated local authorities. President Botha says the elections were a success even though large numbers of blacks boycotted the polling booths. Minister for black affairs, Chris Eunice glosses over the low turnout in urban areas; speakign prior to the elections Archbishop Desmond Tutu breaks the law by calling for a boycott.
